About me

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2009, after training at Manchester University.  Initially I worked in NHS inpatient services for people experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties (such as psychosis), supporting both clients and staff.  I moved into private practice in 2015, where my focus has mostly been on supporting adults and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, low mood and workplace stress.

Since qualifying I have continued to undertake training in different areas, in order to expand my knowledge and skills.  This has included additional training in areas such as yoga and mindfulness, children’s yoga therapy, yoga therapy for women’s health, and models of therapy such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
